Kalea is ambidextrous with the ability to strike the ball with power in both her right and left foot. Her strengths as a center back are defending the goal and stopping the attack, winning 50/50 balls on the ground and in the air, intercepting and clearing the ball out, possessing and accurately distributing the ball, being quick to the ball with strong physicality, anticipating and making the right reads while seeing the whole field,
and commanding the field while communicating with teammates. In addition, Kalea strives to be a leader on and off the field and has a strong passion for the game.

Community
Giving back to the community is something that's near and dear to Kalea's heart. She loves being a volunteer coach and being a mentor to the youth. She stays actively involved in her community and loves to dedicate her spare time to the underserved communities. It brings Kalea fulfillment to give back and serve those in need. She has a heart for those that are less fortunate.
